Sach di garhati/سچ دی گڑھتی
My grandfather, Ustad Ash-Shu’ara Ustad Chiragh Din, known as “Ishq Lehr” (عشق لہر), was a renowned poet. After his passing in 1948, I began reciting his poetry at gatherings, which earned me recognition. In 1970, my friends encouraged me to start writing my own poetry, and soon, I was able to establish my own identity. Most of my success is attributed to my grandfather, Ishq Lehr (عشق لہر).
Throughout my literary journey, Tufail Parvez (طفیل پرویز) provided me with financial and moral support. He also helped establish the literary organization Ishq Lehr (عشق لہر), which later gained nationwide recognition. Many other kind-hearted individuals also guided and supported me.
My poetry book, “Sach Di Garhti” (سچ دی گڑھتی), was published through the dedicated efforts of young poet and journalist Aqeel Shafi (عقیل شافی). Others who contributed to its publication include Professor Dr. Ismatullah Zahid (پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عصمت اللہ زاہد), Professor Zaheer Ahmed Zaheer (پروفیسر ظہیر احمد ظہیر), Maqsood Ahmed Sharqpuri (مقصود احمد شرقپوری), Muhammad Asif (محمد آصف), and Muhammad Sudheer Sain (محمد سدھیر سائیں).
My family, especially my sons and daughters, preserved my poetry, enabling me to become a published author. With the grace of Allah Almighty (اللہ تعالیٰ) and the blessings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) (حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم), I have earned respect and recognition. In the end, I dedicate my poetry to my homeland, my faith, and my beliefs.
میرے دادا استاد الشعراء استاد چراغ دین المعروف “عشق لہر” میرے دادا جی تھے۔ 1948ء میں انتقال ان کے بعد، میں نے ان کا کلام مشاعروں میں پڑھنا شروع کیا، جس سے مجھے پہچان ملی۔ 1970ء میں، میرے دوستوں نے مجھے اپنی شاعری لکھنے کی حوصلہ افزائی دی، اور جلد ہی میں اپنی پہچان بنانے میں کامیاب ہو گیا۔ میری کامیابی زیادہ تر میرے دادا Ishq Lehr (عشق لہر) کی وجہ سے ہوئی۔

Kulyat Bashir / کلیات بشیر
“Kulyat Bashir” is a collection of the Punjabi and Pothohari poetry of Raja Bashir Ahmed, published by the Pothohar Adabi Academy (“پوٹھوہار ادبی اکیڈمی”). The book was published under the patronage of the Chairman of the Pothohar Adabi Academy (“پوٹھوہار ادبی اکیڈمی”) Ustaad Shua’ra Fazi’l Shaik (“استاد الشعراء فاضل شائق”) in June 1993. The cover design of the book was prepared by Yunus Kamal Noshi (“یونس کمال نوشاہی”) from Kallar Syedan, while the calligraphy was done by Chaudhry Tayyab Hussain Barsalvi (“چوہدری طیب حسین برسالوی”). The book was published at the request of Raja Asghar Zaman Kiani (“راجہ اصغر زمان کیانی”).Raja Nazir Ahmed Bashir was born in 1933 in the village of Dhoke Badhal (“گاؤں ڈھوک بدہال”). He began writing poetry in Punjabi and Pothohari at the age of 25, focusing on subjects like “Ahmad and Naat” (“احمد و نعت”), the “waqea Miraj al-Nabi ﷺ” (“واقعہ معراج النبی ﷺ”), the “شہدائے کربلا” (“Shaheedaye Karbala”), “Showni Mainwal” (“شوہنی مینوال”), and “true love” (“عشق حقیقی”). He passed away at the age of 38 due to a road accident after being under medical care for a month. During his life, he had planned to publish a book titled “Barg o Sammar” (“برگ وثمر”) (Leaves and Fruits). In his memory, his brother, Raja Nazir Ahmed Bashir, compiled his works and had them published by the academy.

Adkhoray/اڈکھوڑے
“Adkhoray/اڈکھوڑے” is an important collection of Pothohari poetry written by Mirza Ghafoor Ilahi(مرزا غفور الہی). This book features not only Pothohari poetry but also includes a few Urdu ghazals, which add a broader dimension to the work. Mirza Ghafoor Ilahi beautifully expresses his emotions and sentiments in this collection, reflecting his deep love for his native language and culture. The poetry in this book showcases the essence of Pothohari traditions while also offering beautiful Urdu verses that provide readers with a fresh literary experience.The completion of this book was made possible through the special assistance of Numan Razaq, Shakeel Ahmad, and Fareed Zaied, whose contributions enhanced its richness. The book was published in 2005 and is still considered a valuable asset among enthusiasts of Pothohari literature.

تمام احباب کو بندہ عاجز کی طرف سے السلام وعلیکم ۔۔۔۔ یہ کتاب ” گلشن سخن اللہ تبارک تعالی کے فضل و کرم اور استاد محترم جناب مختار حسین شاہ صاحب کے سایہ شفقت اور چند ا حباب کی فرمائش پر دی گئی ۔ میں اُن دوستوں کا ذکر کرنا ضروری سمجھتا ہوں۔ میرے شاگرد خاص راجہ عدیل پر دیسی جو رشتے میںبھانجے ہیں، بڑے بھائی جمیل کیانی صاحب آف ہرکہ روات، راجہ ایاز اکبر کیانی آف روپڑہ، راجہ یعقوب شیدائی، چوہدری محمد شہزاد آف چھینہ ، راجہ عامر شہزاد نگڑیال اور اس کتاب کے لئے بہت کوشش کاوش کی ہے میرے بھائی ملک امجد صاحب نے ۔ اللہ ان سب کو جزائے خیر دے۔ اگر اس کتاب میں کوئی کمی پیشی رہ گئی ہو تو میں معذرت خواہ ہوں ۔

واضح رہے کہ یہ کتاب 1990 سے 1995 کے دوران شائع ہوئی ہے اس وقت جناب فاضل شائق صاحب مختلف شعراء کا کلام شائع کرواتے رہے جو کتابچوں کی شکل میں شائع ہوتے تھے راقم الحروف کو بھی شاعری کا ذوق و شق ان کتابچوں ہی کی وجہ سے پیدا ہوا ہے یہ نایاب کتاب جناب ظفر اقبال وارثی صاحب نے عنایت فرمائی اس کے علاوہ اور بھی بیت سی کتب ظفر اقبال وارثی صاحب کی وجہ سے منظر عام پر آئی ہیں فاضل شائق صاحب کی کچھ کتابیں راجہ علی حمزہ صاحب گوجرخان نے بھی بندہ کے ساتھ خصوصی تعاون کرتے ہوے عنایت فرمائی یوں آج سے پچیس تیس سال پہلے کی کتب منظر عام پر آئی اسکے علاہ حبیب امرت صاحب انگلینڈ سے،سائیں نجیب صاحب اور کشمیر کے دوستوں نے بہت تعاون کیا راقم الحروف نے خود بھی پوٹھوہار میں اس مقصد کے لئے کافی اسفار کئے اب لحمد للہ کثیر تعداد میں کتب طوبی بک فاونڈیشن آن لائن لائبریری کا حصہ بن چکی ہیں
